Working in the park

I invited my colleague to have our meeting in the park instead of our workplace or a coffee shop so that we would be in nature. We went and sat down on a picnic table and the fact that we were in a park with no WiFi meant we had to work with paper and pencils. It was lovely to move away from screens for a bit and focus more on the environment around us, and find inspiration from it (trees, grass, flowers, people having fun, less traffic and road work noises etc). Our experience of working together was much more organic, fluid, fun, chill… and I feel like being in the park encouraged us to listen to our needs and our creativity more than if we were in a closed/usual setting.
